Last digit of the serial # missing because some idiot (me) drilled a hole to mount an under BB cable guide for the front derailleur, after the original one broke and I couldn't find one with a cable stop on the derailleur. Have since found an NOS replacement. Purchased when I was the service manager at Livermore Schwinn in Livermore,Ca.
