I am the original owner and purchased at a bike dealer in Los Gatos California in 1991. I had previously owned a 1988 green TimberCOMP that was unfortunately stolen and this Everest was its replacement. in 1991 I swapped the wheelset to Weinmann/Bontrager rims and Phil Wood hubs, along with Phil Wood bottom bracket assembly and Chris King threaded headset. Along the way I swapped the saddle for the Avocet/Ritchey saddle that was on the 1988 TimberCOMP, swapped skewers to Salsa, handlebar grips, and pedals to clipless. I still use the original pedals on another bike that I own/ride.

Is there a URL where people can read or see more about your bike?
