Purchased with strange skinny road tires, restored to its former glory. Almost all original, except I built up some nice light fast tubeless wheels, and mounted a swept back (though still fillet brazed and bullmoose!) bar. Saddle mounted bag is made by Tom's son, Jay Ritchey (bags x bird) Other notes: Silca pump, cloth bar tape, nissen cable housing in the "tumeric" color. Chainrings are newer Salsa rings, 42-36-26. Handles beautifully, is a fantastic trail bike and has great zip upon pavement as well. The perfect amphibian. I have a few other, lesser, 23" MTBs of this era, and they just don't even come close to the ride quality here. Tom is the Skip Frye of bicycles. A+! I made a video of restoring the bike, hope to have it linked here soon.
