The Ritchey Project

This is one of the few non-red Team Comps ever built. According to the original owner this bike was originally ordered to display Blackburn racks at a trade show in New York. Tom only painted the Team Comps red (or occasionally pink), and it took a lot of talking to get the bike painted white (which was supposed to better highlight the racks). After the show the bike was purchased by the original owner and it spent much of it's like in Oregon.

I purchased the bike in early 2005 and built it up for bike-packing. The first pic below shows the bike as it looked when I bought it, and the others show what it's looked like since 2005. I added a mix of parts to ensure durability and comfort. I've taken it on several long weekend trips. It hauls gear pretty well.
