My brother and I helped Tom Ritchey build his log house and log garage that turned into his shop. As part of our payment Tom built both my brother Rick and I mountain bikes. My brother’s bike was destroyed in the Butte fire of 2015. I still have mine. We remember the day we finished working for Tom and went to a garage in Marin somewhere to pick up the bikes. Charles Kelly and Gary Fisher were finishing up spoking the wheels. We followed all three of their careers and felt very lucky to own bikes that the three had a hand in building. Now in 2018 they are almost 38 years old. I’ll try and post some photo at a later date. My brother thinks the numbers were 53 and 54, but that’s just from the memory of a 73 year old rider. There are no numbers on the bike.

Is there a URL where people can read or see more about your bike?
