My cousin David owned one of the first Mountain Bike shops in Atlanta located in Five Points. Sometime in the spring of 1986, I was visiting Emory (graduated Emory 1981) and went to visit my cousin and he suggested I meet him to see his new bike shop. I was struck by the mountain bikes in his store. David recommended that I purchase the Richie Aspen. Ive owned it for 32 years.
I was with a friend this past weekend from San Fransisco who is restoring vintage bikes (from the 1990's up). I told him I had an old Richie in my garage, older than the bikes he is restoring. That caused me to go to the garage and look at the serial number so I could try to identify the model and age the bike.
Is there a URL where people can read or see more about your bike?
