I am the original owner, purchased the frame at the Ritchey dealer in Mountainview CA in 1990. I ordered a custom factory paint job. I selected all the parts and had the bike built by the shop. It was a well established shop at the time but I can't remember the name now and it's either gone or might have new owners and a new name. I think the fillet brazed version cost significantly more and I was prepared to pay for that but I suppose now I wish I had.
