Living in Santa Cruz in the 80's I cut my early years Mountain Biking on my Ritchey Commando. I am the original owner. I purchased the bike in 1984-5 at the Spokesman in SC.
Many a fine time riding all the local mountain trails, plus a few multi-day tours along the Northern California/Oregon Coast and San Juan Islands of Washington. I used all the lugs to attach my f&r Blackburn Racks with Jandd Panniers!
Lots of fond memories, so after decades of looking at it hanging in the rafters at home I have decided to bring it back to life. I am currently in the restoration process - (Nov 2024). I will update the info and pictures after completion. All components are original. Overall bike is in very good condition.
If anyone can assist with replacement rim/wheel supplier/suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.
