My dad purchased the bike in the 90's from his friend, Ted Herman of Velomeister in Los Gatos. It was Ted's personal bike for a year, so I would guess he loaded it up with the best parts (as the store owner), but I honestly do not know. I'm just trying to learn a bit about it cause is an awesome bike. Might consider selling or trading as it's a touch too small of a frame for me. I'm 5'11".
