This early Ritchey belonged to Alan Bonds' one of the original Repack Riders. Alan Bonds' 1979 Ritchey is one of the first 12 to be built. Alan shared a house with me and Gary Fisher during the '70s and did custom bike painting. He designed and built two trade show backdrops for Ritchey products during the '80s. The photo was taken near the top of Pearl Pass in Colorado in 1979. - Charlie Kelly
